Man-Bat Build Part 1

My "How to Make an Asteroid M Playset" series went over quite well, so I'm going to try and do more making-off posts. I thought my Man-Bat figure would be a good subject. I've been meaning to build some DC Comics Noble Monsters for my collection, and, with the recent purchase of a sizeable parts lot, I now have everything I need for a really nice Man-Bat.

The lot of parts had a variety of bodies to choose from. I chose a body that allows the arms to swivel straight up and out from the sides of the body (a Bif Bang Pow! "Flash Gordon" body). This will allow Man-Bat to show off his wings when completed.

I sanded the neck plug of the resin Man-Bat head and fit it into the body. The parts lot had some pieces from Emce's Zombie Kit, and there was a pair of lanky zombie hands that reminded me of how Neil Adams draws Man-Bat's hands. I unhinged a pair of regular Mego hands at the wrist joint and replaced them with the zombie hands.

I found a pair of jeans in my main inventory for him. He's now ready for painting. While I'm painting him, I'll figure out how I want to construct his wings.
